1. Reception Dinner/Catering
If you are struggling with finding a nice restaurant/venue for the reception dinner or catering service for your wedding, you can just let us know your budget, location and cuisine preferences and our assistants will start researching, send you options and then assist with reservation.
2. MC/Officiant
Finding an English-speaking MC or officiant can be rather challenging if you plan to have your wedding in Korea, especially if your wedding venue is somewhere outside of urban hubs like Seoul. Quick tip: there is an association of legal licensed officiants in Korea. They can connect you with officiants from your area and Wonderful can assist you with contacting them and making arrangements.
3. Wedding venue
One of the first things to decide when planning for a wedding is, of course, the venue. You need to make sure it can accommodate all the guests, has the right equipment, changing areas etc. If you need assistance with finding the perfect venue or already have one in mind and need help with minor things such as equipment rental or decorations Wonderful can help arrange that for you.
4. Transportation Assistance
If you are inviting guests from outside Korea it may be difficult for them to navigate through public transportation or drive to get to the wedding venue. It’s always a good idea to arrange for a bus to take your guest to the venue and back. So on your special day you would not need to worry that aunt Karen accidentally went on a solo adventure 20km from where she needed to be. If you need an assistant to physically help gather guests or give bus directions, we can help find those as well.
5. Wedding Cake
The star feature of any wedding is, of course, THE wedding cake! Whether you are looking for a traditional classic white cake or want to surprise guests with creativity and have a half-half cake (in the image above) – imagination is your anvil and Wonderful is your hammer :) We can look for a confectioner to make your dream cake come true.
6. THE RING!
Getting ready to pop up the question but cannot find the perfect ring? Why not have it made from scratch? Our assistants can search for a custom jewel maker who can create a true one-of-a-kind ring for your partner.
7. Wedding Dress
Finding the ideal dress is a definitely one of the key moments in planning any wedding. If you live in Seoul, you may have already heard about the Ahyeon-dong Wedding Street, an area between Ewha Women's University Station and Ahyeon Station that has over 200 wedding dress shops. It’s a great place to start your search, but if you’re struggling with finding that unique design, we are always happy to help. We can check options on-line, look for a custom atelier or if you are on a tight budget search for a dress rental.
8. Wedding Photographer
Photographs capture a moment that’s gone forever. This could not be more true for weddings. From morning preparation to cutting the wedding cake – you want those precious moments on your big day to be captured, so you could later look back on and relieve them. Therefore, picking a good photographer is paramount. If you are not sure where to start, just message us, let us know what you are looking for and our assistants will start searching for options that match your preferences. We can also assist with checking album printing services after the wedding.
9. Honeymoon Planning
The days leading up to the wedding can pretty much suck all of your energy that you forget to properly plan for your honeymoon. Having assisted with hundreds of travel related requests, Wonderful can be your perfect honeymoon planning buddy. We can look for all inclusive packages with flight tickets, hotel and tour bookings, or make a highly customized itinerary and assist you with booking everything. Wonderful can help ease the stress from planning the wedding, giving you the ease of mind to take a rest and enjoy your honeymoon.
We can also assist with requests beyond the scope listed above. We can assist with literally anything you need help with, provided it is legal and realistic. We can even look for an English-speaking wedding planner if you feel like you will need one after all.
Regarding our pricing, we charge for the time taken working on your request by the minute, for as low as 1250 KRW per minute, depending on your preferred pricing package. There are NO processing fees when you pay us via bank wire transfer. (You will pay only the cost of the item(s)). When we charge your bank card, there is an 8.5% processing fee that goes to the payment processor for their services. We do NOT benefit from this fee.
