One of the most common issues expats struggle with while living in Korea is finding a “handyman” – someone to fix a clogged toilet, living room lights, repair a broken washing machine etc. For most, the language barrier makes it difficult to even start searching for one, not to mention trying to explain the issue and scheduling a visit. The good news is getting a handyman has never been easier with Wonderful personal assistants. Below is a guide to handyman services that you can get in Korea.
Need to unclog your toilet/sink? Having issues with an odd smell coming out of drains? Need to replace old pipes? Then you likely need a plumber. Depending on the issue, plumbers usually charge minimum 20,000 KRW fee. If you feel you need one, just message us, explain the issue and we will get a quote and schedule the visit.
A/S (a.k.a After Service) is a Konglish word you may want to adapt to your vocabulary. A/S service covers product repairs and checkups. All Korean appliances/most electric devices have stickers with A/S numbers you can call if you are having issues with your washing machine/dish washer/ fridge etc. If your appliance is new, (under 1-2 years of use, depending on the warranty) repair may not even cost you a dime unless it involves core part replacements. The exact coverage is outlined in your warranty. If you need assistance calling the A/S center, please send us a photo of the sticker with the equipment model and A/S information.

Having pets (dogs/cats) is a blessing that comes with unwelcome surprises like scratched wall paper, chewed wall or damaged floor. If you need help getting someone to replace old wallpaper, floor or even upholster your favorite chair we are always happy to assist you.

Regarding our pricing, we charge for the time taken working on your request by the minute, for as low as 1250 KRW per minute, depending on your preferred pricing package. There are NO processing fees when you pay us via bank wire transfer. (You will pay only the cost of the item(s)). When we charge your bank card, there is an 8.5% processing fee that goes to the payment processor for their services. We do NOT benefit from this fee.
